Pumpkin Barn Dance Frolics

I love Autumn. It’s my favorite time of year…until Spring comes around. While I was working on Pumpkin Barn Dance, I had so many precious memories from when out children were young, of visiting pumpkin patches and picking out the best pumpkins for jack-o-lanterns. And who could forget the hay rides! This tradition started before our first child was even a year old. While this year I picked pumpkins out of fabric, the memories of visiting the pumpkin patches are still vividly in my mind.

It’s the time of year for crunching leaves and putting on heavier garments to stay warm. We are reminded of the changing season while walking our dogs each morning. The Autumn scent is in the air and the puppies are a bit more rambunctious. I’m rather sad that they won’t be picking out pumpkins for us this year. They do love to cuddle up on the Pumpkin Barn Dance quilt, though.

I hope you have wonderful Autumn memories to ponder, and that you can get out to relive your youth by crunching some leaves as you walk along a path. Our puppies get us out every morning to walk us so there is no way we will miss the Autumn vibes.
