It’s been a while since posting here. I have had good intentions, but life keeps getting in the way. Unfortunately, I have had to be out of my quilt design studio the last few weeks. I love what I do so I am itching to get back to work.

Today I am excited to introduce the YouTube channel of my good quilty friend, Ellen Campbell. I was delighted to hear that she filmed a tutorial on how to make a COLOR TANGLES block. Go to #ellencampbell/campbellscreations and scroll to her Color Tangles tutorial. This was the first time she tried the block piecing technique called Foundation Paper Piecing and she was surprised at how easy it was. I remember being intimidated by it before I tried it. I, too was surprised at the ease and precision of this method and have loved using it ever since. Aside from that, as a designer it is a thrill to see someone using my pattern as a starting point and making it their own. Thanks Ellen!

I have a few secret sewing projects going on which I will have to share on a later date. Let’s just say they involve a quilt fabric designer, a quilt fabric distributor, and my first magazine submission! The magazine submission is a long shot, but there is experience gained simply in the act of trying. One more thing. I am getting close to launching my fourth pattern, FANDEMONIUM!
