It is always such a thrill to see your quilt hanging in a show. This show was extra special because I met up for the first time in person with fellow “Tech Know Quilters,” Mary and Carol. We are standing next to my quilt, Singularity which was designed in Electric Quilt 8. “TKQ” is a learning course taught by Kari Schell of On Point Quilter. I have benefited from years of her teaching.
It was also wonderful spending time at the show with my daughter, Andria (a fellow quilter) and my husband, Peter. Andria and I love the vendors as much as the show. We never go home empty handed!

In sharp contrast to my quilt at the show, I have recently published an uncharacteristically easy pattern, Twin Sisters on my website, and at QuiltWoman.com. I think I needed a little breather! I did enjoy putting this one together.
I have two more quilt designs in the works which I am looking forward to bringing to life. One, Enchanted Evening, uses Foundation Paper Piecing, and the other, Watermelon Delight, uses Strip Piecing, which I have never done before. I always like learning new skills.
I hope you are enjoying Autumn and all the wonders it brings. It’s my favorite time of year!
Blessings,
Nancy
