About Me
A friend introduced me to quilting over 30 years ago while I was in the middle of a career as a professional violinist. I was immediately enthralled with the art and have rarely been without a quilting project since. My first quilt, “Hearty,” was made for my then 5 year old daughter. (Do we ever forget our first quilt?) The memory of her sitting beneath it while I hand quilted is one we both cherish. Hearty is still among her treasures, though it has literally been loved to pieces.
For years I was content with traditional quilting and understated colors. A diagnosis of breast cancer changed all that. As a survivor, I discovered my unique voice and found The World is Full of Color! Whether it be the starkness of black and white or brilliant colors bursting from the seams. I love them all!
I can usually be found in my quilting and design studio. My doggies are my sounding board while I am at work. The Beagle loves all my designs. The Puggle, however is much more critical, but gives very good advice.
It brings me great joy to share my designs with you, and I hope you will continue to come back again and again to see what is new!
